PR or BUSt

save our bus posterJust as I was getting used to the local bus service the council decided to cut it. That’s when my PR experience came in handy. Although successful, little did I know that I would need to do this all over again in six years time! Armed with a tenacious and fearless district councillor Chris Camden, our strategies secured the service. Well, for now anyway.


Sandra Jones Sickels

Last year my boss , Sandra Jones Sickels (  from The Haworth Press, New York, came to visit me in London. I haven’t seen her since the 80’s! I didn’t think she remembered me but I was delighted when she called. My mind was whirling, ‘where do I take someone special who has seen and done everything’? My husband recommended London Walks ( and I thought that was a brilliant idea. We had a lot of fun and I hope I have remained in her good books!
